Post subject:  Rear Lower Control arm frame bracket

... mine have rusted badly enough that my passenger side arm mounting hole is now slotted, allowing for movement during braking and acceleration.
Anyone know if someone / someplace has fabbed replacements for the KJ???
I'd prefer something that slips over the frame, and can be welded completely around.

Ideas???

Any good welding shop should be able to look at your Jeep, take some measurements and fab up something and weld it. :D

Mine rusted so bad it broke while my wife was driving it. It was a bad design.

I replaced mine with Moog that are a total redesign that allow the water out so they wont ever rust out again. I'll check and see if I still have the part number.

I believe, the Rear Lower Control Arms are on a recall. I had mine replaced at a Dealership for free last Summer.
Call your nearest Service Department and ask about an appointment.
