I would start by going to each corner, pulling the wheel and tire, and locating and following the ABS sensor cord from the hub sensor all the way back to the connector by the ABS unit under the brake booster. These have locating clips that commonly harden and break, and allow the cord to rub against the tire or wheel. If this has happened you may need to replace them, but whether you need to or not, replace any damaged plastic loom covering, and use zip ties or something that can firmly locate it where it's safe from any contact with tires, wheels, brakes, etc. If the problem still exists when all visible damage is repaired, go to a shop that has an advanced scanner that can check the ABS codes, if you don't have one currently available to you. |
