Has anyone else noticed that the Mopar replacement thermostat (from Jeep but with "Motorad" on it) as well as the Rockauto Mopar/Motorad and Gates thermostats don't quite fit in the thermostat cover? My original thermostat's seal has a small key on it and is slightly smaller in the outer diameter and thickness than the replacement parts. This makes the replacement part not fit correctly in the cover and not seal against the block. I was able to swap the old seal onto the new thermostat and it fits and does not leak, but it is disappointing that Jeep's replacement does not fit. Also, the replacement part has just a pin that sticks out on the outside/radiator/non-spring side while the original had a shield around the pin.

The picture at Rockauto mostly matches my original piece but the actual replacement from them and the jeep dealer did not.
