hi got a jeep kj 4x4 crd 2006 had for 4 years....went to shop 3 months ago came out no crank no start got it towed home , found the transponder box hanging down ( dont know if supposed to be earthed ) fixed it up and now sometimes cranks but still not start, ive got diesel ok to the pump and ok to the injectors, i have changed the crank and the cam sensors still same, tried different batteries even changed interior fuse box as a couple of fuses didnt grip properly , tried swapping over the relays nothing seems to work, put a new earth strap on, tried all the tricks like holding the battery leads together to reset ,locking and unlocking doors nothing works....AMY IDEAS APPRECIATED

Kind of sounds like the starter motor failed?

most folks don't go to the other sections - too much Spam

- most no starts trace to the battery -
it has to have enough voltage to turn on the computer before it will try to start

although there's an pin in the ignition switch too.
