I definitely do, but it's going to be a couple of months before I can pull the trigger. Have to get a bunch of other expenses out of the way first.

I wonder how much centering the tires in the wheel well affects the hockey puck/bumpstop equation? I'm going to see if I can get away with 2 vs 3, with the OME+2 extra iso's.

Since the rear axle travels in an arc up and down, I don't think 2-3 inches will be even noticeable as far as the springs and pucks are concerned.
But you will have to pay real close attention to pinion/driveshaft angles.

I set my lower arms out about 1/2" further than the stock arms to lower the pinion angle a little bit in reference to the output shaft of the transfer case.
I will report if there are any adverse effects or if I have to readjust the lower arm positions.
The output shaft of the transfer case and the input shaft of the rear axle pinion should be on fairly even planes with each other as shown in the picture below.

Thanks for the diagram. Would you mind posting your angle(s), lift config (I think you have OME's with no extra iso's?) And if you had to adjust the iron rock UCA as well?

When I bought your UCA I also got one of those driveline angle gauges, but your recommended adjustment on the iron rock worked great, can't remember the angle though.

Did not change the IronRock upper control arm setting, Heim Joint is still screwed all the way in to bottom of threads in control arm.
I have IronMan Springs and a 1/2" clevis lift up front. Don't have any extra Iso's.
I did extend the new IronRock control arms out 1/2" more than the factory OEM arms to move the the pinion angle down to parallel the plane of the transfer case output shaft.
These are the measurements right now tanken on level concrete unloaded.
Transfer case output shaft: 4 deg.s down below level centerline.
Driveshaft: 13 deg.s
Pinion shaft angle: 4 deg.s down below level centerline.
Right now transfer case output shaft and pinion shaft are on the exact same planes with each other.
I may adjust the pinion shaft angle back up a little to put it more in line with the driveshaft. Can't do anything about the angle of the U Joint on the transfer case end. Lifting a Liberty really increases the U joint angles since it is such a short driveshaft.

Actually I had it on a lift with the wheels off and I was only concerned with pinion angle. Rear axle was at full drop to full extension of shock travel.
I was not even thinking of axle centering which would be hard to calculate with the axle a full drop being it travels in an arc.

But I went out and took a picture and it is very very close to center, mabe 1/2 inch off. Lucked out on that one.
Tire size is 245/75/16

Thanks again. I'll start with the UCA adjusted back about 1/2" then, and see what I get. This makes 32's a much better fit, from previous rub Marks in the front side of the wheel well I think I'll be able to leave out one of the hockey pucks, but we'll see. That'd be an extra inch of articulation, fingers crossed.

Whatever you move the UCA's back, I would match with the LCA's all the while paying close attention to pinion angle.

Makes sense, whatever the current angle is, it has held up well, so I bet it will be even better with the lca's being adjustable, although I'm adding an inch of iso's. Based on yours I guess I'll start with 1/2" up top, and 1" for the lca's.

Bump!

So I'm looking at these adjustable rear LCA's to fix an alignment issue with my KJ. After having some pull on the freeway (knock on wood that the front LSD isn't causing this) I had the alignment checked and apparently (along with the LF toe being out) the rear axle is 'bent' a bit which is throwing off the rear left toe angle and supposedly pushing the vehicle to the right at speed. I'm betting that with these I can get it dialed-in perfectly.

The adjustable WJ IronRock Lower Rear Control Arms are super heavy duty and work perfectly on the Jeep Liberty. Simple bolt on.
I weld custom mounts on them to be able to attach the OEM sway bar if you want to keep it in service.
