For those with the Iron Rock rear upper control arm, what lower control arms are you using to get improved flex compared to the stock lower control arms? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

Still on the factory ones (well, Moog replacements) here. If there are any recommendations for rear LCAs that don't cost the earth, I'd also love to know about them. |

X2 on the OEM's. Still running the lower OEM arms that came on the jeep and they are still in great shape. But I don't live in the salt/rust area like some of you up north have to deal with. Got the replacement ones for the recall but did not install them as they don't look very well built as compared to the factory ones. Made out of much thinner metal than the original ones! Got the recall bars still in the box setting on a shelf in case I ever need them. May be able to adapt or modify some of the HD IronRock adjustable Control Arms to the fit the Liberty? Like these:

The stock KJ rear lower control arm has a length of 17.32 inches (440mm) I would guess that there would be a drop in fit control arm from another make/model of Jeep. Some options I have found so far: CB Engineering, based out of Iowa, actually for KJ https://cb-engineer.com/products/2002-2007-jeep-liberty-kj-heavy-duty-adjustable-rear-lower-control-arms From Iron Rock Offroad, for a WJ that is adjustable from 15 3/4" to 19 3/8. Need to verify the bolt diameter and bushing width is the same as the Liberty. https://www.ironrockoffroad.com/product/wj-heavy-duty-adjustable-lower-control-arms.html |

They are heavy and shipping would be high if a guy were to buy them. |

I measured a stock control arm bushing, it uses a M14 through hole and the bushings are 66.4mm wide. This is for both the body and axle mount. Looking at Iron Rock's website this would the M14 x 2 5/8 inch size joint. |

Can't do anything about them (including being the guinea pig) at the moment, but would like to be able to in a couple of months or so if possible. |

Yes, according to the measurements they will fit. I ordered a set of the Iron Rock adjustable control arms and will show some comparison pictures when the arrive. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk |

I've sent an enquiry in to them; I'll let everyone know what the response is. I emailed and called cbengineering last year about thier kj lift kit and recieved no response. They are located about an hour and a half from where I live, but they dont appear to have a storefront that I can just stop in to. I did see he posted recently in the WK diesel forum here, so who knows. Good luck. |

Maybe if enough of us contact them at the same time they will make a batch. I think I need the option of having the sway bar attached to haul my 5,000 lb boat+trailer, and other loads that heavy.??? |
