Can anybody who has an ARB compressor post up some pics of their compressor location? I got one from Lilmatty (thanks again!) and will probably just go with his idea, but just was wondering what others have done.

Thanks!

I have seen them under the hood as well as under the front seats (LOUD!) and behind the plastic in the cargo area (under the fixed glass).

I put mine behind the airbox, I had to make a braket, and mounted it using 2 of the strut bolts and then drilled 2 holes for the other side, and had to make a custom bracket for and relocate my cruise control vacume actuator.

Ok. Just to republish my ARB location. Note I made a mount out of a hunk of metal and put it on the back firewall using exisitng nuts. Location is nice as it's right there where the battery is and also near where the switches will go. Makes the wiring pretty clean and simple.

The kit I have is AFE with a AEM syn.air filter, yes it came with the heatshield. It's a nice kit, uses a composite tube instead of a metal one to keep the air charge temp down and weighs less.
