Sun coast VS Florida torque converters 13-35-ls-sd? Price is only 100$ different. Neither has core charge.

SunCoast has proven and highly acclaimed reviews by owners on this forum, myself being one of them.
Actually I have two of them, one in my Dodge Cummins and the other in my Jeep Liberty. Very happy with both of them.

I believe there has been a few good reviews by owners on this forum on the Florida Torque Converters?
May want to do a search for Florida Torque Converter on LOST to read reviews?
Maybe some owner who is actually running one can give you some feedback.... :ALONE:

I still believe in the old adage, you get what you pay for, so don't make a 100$ mistake.
Having to R&R a transmission the second time around to replace a torque converter purchase mistake can get costly$$$.
Ask me how I know, been there, done that on my Dodge. Never again. :banghead:

agree and this project is not cut corner although I’m not doing a full rebuild but just bulletproof it for now. It was more about the fact that they are practically the same price. But one user said he gained 3-4 mpg just by installing the FTC unit, so the lower stall really helped him a lot and that sounds great especially with a turned up 2.8 but I also want to tow with it so gotta be burly.

Actually with shipping the price difference is 30$. So I guess it comes down to which one is the better unit. Anyone know the stall speed of the suncoast? The FTC is listed as 400rpm below stock.

Suncoast says they are 2000 stall. Now, anyone know the stock stall rpm? Lol. Then we will know stall vs FTC unit

SasquatchParts.com lists the SunCoast TC Stall Speed @ 1900 rpm's >

Well that’s interesting. I wonder who is right? Lol. I tend to believe the mfg but who knows.
