So, I am having trouble with the autobox not shifting to O/D. I am running a custom 60mm (2 3/8") lift with 265 70 16 goodyear and an ARB locker in the rear. Whilst I am working on repairing the transmission, was considering a complete rebuild. (about 160 000 miles) Since considering a rebuild, I was wondering........... Is there a way to rebuild the transmission to have different gearing and then run a custom program? In stead of the 3.0 1st, 2nd up, 2nd down, 3,4,5 I was thinking in the line of: 1st 3.5; 2nd 3.0; 3rd 1.67; 4th 1.00; 5th 0.75; 6th 0.67 With a reprogram this becomes a true 6 speed transmission with a low 1st for LOW RANGE use. Any idea of such possibilities or kits? |

OD is disabled until everything is up to operating temperature so maybe it's just a bad temperature sensor. |
