Hi,
I disassembled the 42RLE valve body and am reassembling it after cleaning and replacing the solenoid pack along with several other parts. Regarding the Converter Clutch Control Valve. There are two springs: a plain steel one that is shorter and heavier and a green coated one that is lighter and longer. Which one is installed in the bore first?
Shoulda written it down when I was disassembling
