On my CRD, I was loosing coolant and it was coming out the exhaust as steam. I had an EGR delete done but that didn't help. It hydro-locked so I had the head gasket replaced. It is still pumping coolant out the exhaust. Any ideas?

Possible cracked head or cylinder liner. :grim:

The head was shaved and checked when the head gasket was replaced. I don't like the sound of cylinder liner. I loosened the fill cap for the coolant and coolant loss has stopped, or at least it is slowed to the point of being non-detectable.

Was the head pressure tested for leaks while you had it off?
BTY, you are not supposed to shave/mill these heads. They are not designed to be milled and come from the factory with a thin nickel coating on the sealing surface and if you have it milled, you are removing the nickel coating.
Have you totally removed your EGR cooler?
By loosening the reservoir fill cap, you are not allowing any pressure to build in the cooling system which tells me that when pressure is allowed to build (cap on), it if forcing coolant out of the coolant system somewhere. Most likely into the combustion chamber (cracked head) or into the intake via the EGR cooler if is still in service.
