This will be the 2nd intercooler (CAC) I've had to repair so far this year
Just removed the Intercooler from my sons KJ as there was a light mist of oil being blown onto the radiator, surprisingly it still had 22psi of boost, be interesting to see what it gets when repaired & back together. looks like the crack has been there for some time as the crack was covered in JB weld that of Corse didn't work, why people think JB will cure all issues is beyond me.
I'll be plastic welding the crack & reinforcing it with stainless mesh like I did on the last one with great success, the last one I did the crack was worse & was only making 8lbs of boost, photo show the crack & the mesh I will be using for the repair. https://imgur.com/a/VgkAbyg

I had a local radiator shop custom make mine out of aluminum, only cost about $1000 and I also had an all aluminum radiator made adapt the same time [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

Mines repaired now, better than new, total cost about $2 for the stainless mesh & about 1 1/2hrs for the repair
