sorry for the potato quality, but it's all I have right now for an inspection camera. go to about 2:46 in to see things the best.
pretty sure, it's tossed the intake rocker, as that valve never opens.
but what i'm concerned with, other than WHY did the rocker get tossed, is that valve looks like it's sitting low. shouldn't it be more recessed into the head when closed? did it toss the rocker because the seat dropped a little? not enough to fall out completely yet, but enough to allow the rocker to kick out?
I haven't pulled the valve cover yet (we're being drowned by a rain storm right now) to verify a tossed rocker.

trying to decide if this 65th anniversary jeep is about to become a parts jeep or not.

the cam isn't pushing it at all. the valve never opens.

Maybe worth taking the cover off & putting the follower back in place.
I you then turn over by hand so the valve is open, you may get a better look.
A compression test may show a problem as well.
Good Luck!

as soon as I button up some other automotive projects, i'll be back on this.
a valve cover removal is already planned as my next step, as i'm 99.999% certain it tossed the rocker; you can hear the appropriate style noises from that area when I do run it briefly.
i'm just concerned that, if I put the rocker back on, and it actuates the valve, if the seat is loose it could fall out completely, and that'll be a Bad Day.

How many miles on it?
Your best bet may be to go ahead and pull the heads and inspect everything including the valve seats.

174k.
if I determine it needs a head off service, then it's a parts jeep.
paid $800 for it, and i'm already about to steal the cats off it (were just replaced 2 months ago, and I have another jeep here that can use them.)
plus a bunch of other parts.

so the lifter had fallen out. popped it back into place. cranked the engine over a couple of times soon as I finish repairing the brittle plastic line I broke, it'll hopefully start and run properly.
