I want toTow my Liberty behind my RV. (long distances) It's an '03 4x4, auto trans. Any ifo, advice, or do's or don't's? Thanks! JR |

The liberty makes a great dinghy... just be sure to follow the directions in the owner's manual if you are towing flat. My brother in law got a KJ just for that purpose. |

Put the transfer case in neutral and the transmission in park and away you go. |

Do a search under "toad pulling" or something to that effect. The rv community calls vehicles pulled behind as "toads" |

YES absolutly put your transfer case in the NEUTRAL position. Keep the KJ free from any moving parts while towing it. |

I also heard there is something you have to do to the brake lights to keep them from blowing when hooked up as a tow. Could be wrong or not sure if it was all models but it had something to do with adding some diode to the rear brake lights. |
