I put new rear shocks in yesterday and everything seems fine, but I think I put them in upside down. how are they supposed to go? I installed mine with the fat part up top and the piston on the bottom, something tells me that is wrong... ![]() |

It is....the fat part (where the piston goes inside) is suppost to be on bottom with the silver piston then being exposed on the top side.... ![]() ![]() |

Lovely... how bad is this, I rode to work today and they seem fine. Believe me I will be flipping them when I get home was just curious. |

not sure...but I would try to avoid extreme bumps in case some bending might occur..and if you do approach some bumps take it easy...my .02 |

Could cause some harm to the shock. Its not made to work upside down. Flip them, they should be just fine. ![]() |
