M&P 40 (Robert) is in for the Feb 08 running of Rig of the Month contest. Hey here's a way to support one of our own and cast your vote in the contest.
This month the theme is FLEX ( articulation ). And if you gander at the contestant photos you will really see our man has the best flex features going. As of today Robert is tied for 1st place anyway so he's got some steam going.
Robert had mentioned this contest to us at the Four Peaks Cleanup. He and five other AZ LOST members made our very respectable representation amoung a myriad of other 4WD clubs. It was a good feeling to see the Liberties mixed with the Tacomas, Four Runners, FJ's, Jeeps, and customs making up a united effort to clean the trail up.
My only quark was when one of the Custom Jeep guys around me asked me what I was driving and thought it was as CJ standing near by. When I proudly said a KJ he said "nice truck. I just bought my daughter one". UMMPHH!! Well I had to blurt " well this KJ of mine is a diesel and it gets 29 MPG!". Well this got the whole crowd quiet as they were just bragging on how they were getting 11-15 MPG out of thier rigs.
Anyway it was all in fun but DON"T FORGET TO VOTE for Robert.

thanks for the mention and support. although i did not get to spent all day at the cleanup, i still had a good time an picked up about 30lbs of brass. anytime someone wants to organize a cleanup and i can get the day off work i am there!
