Team Leader... okay, you got me on the shenanigans, but how about trading in Beth's KJ for a new hardtop JK???

Image

Shenanigans again!!!

Sold my Crossfire and TJ and bought the new JK today. Gotta put some BFG Mud Terrains on next week and we'll be good to go. Looks like we'll be giving Beth's KJ a rest and do some wheeling in the JK. Glad that the L.O.S.T. guys aren't that strict on TJ's or JK's tagging along. LOL... deep down, you know Liberty guys like having a Wrangler or two around to help pull them out of the tough spots. Anyway, that's what a certain Rubicon driver, that hosts chili fests told me on the side.... :D

Very good looking Jeep Number 3- I like the color.
Recently a prominent officer of the chapter had said to me that All 4WD type vehicles are happily accepted to the club- sort of the capture of jeepers/off roaders who are too stock or not modified enough to be keeping up with some of those other quasi- rock crawler type jeep rides and LOSTAZ is a way for people to be a group as well as their interest in 4WD's. Yeah a soical off road vehicle club that puts people up there as well as their rides!

Roland... exactly. Beth and i have said over and over, of the car/Jeep clubs we've run with, the folks from L.O.S.T. and JeepKJ Country are the best. We look forward to each run.

Thanks for the comments on the new JK...

OK, I gotta ask how you came about with this new moniker (I figure it was because you were position #3 in the group run, just wondering why it stuck?)[/QUOTE]

Kevin... yep, you guessed it and also because that is about as high as I can hope to aspire to in the hierarchy of things when it comes to being out on the trail. I thought about the other important slot of any trail run, being the Tail Gunner. Since I have no hope of Beth getting her Liberty lifted, I would end up being the one left behind if I was in that position. So, I have forever claimed position 3 in any future runs and hence forth will be addressed as "Number 3". That is of course if Team Leader gives his okay and thinks I am capable of being a good number 3.... :D

I thought about being up front in the Number 2 spot to help Team Leader when needed but, I let Roland and his family have that position because of his enthusiasm and great potential of developing into a much better team leader some day that I could ever be. That way he could observe and learn from a real Team Leader. Not to mention the fact that his CRD has a sun roof and his wife could pop up and take pics of us as we followed along... ;)

Image

As for Team Leader... Mike did such an outstanding job of leading us through the badlands of SE Arizona and answered ALL questions we had, he has earned the respect and title of "Team Leader"... :P

See ya all on the trail again soon...

Number 3

Note: sorry about the bad color in the pics, I screwed up the white balance and tried the best I could to correct them in photochop

AJ:
I love this quote and it is the foundation of LOST- we put people ahead of vehicles. Nicely said!

AJ i see you have a talent for the eloquent answers as much as I do (even if they come from the other end) Might have to stick you as midgunner. Though, i have no true say in where people are placed in the big lineup.

Like the the JK too.
