Been kinda dead in here lately. How's everybody been? Anybody got any good news, funny facts, etc?

Don't forget to join us for the March Club meeting and Run!!! Also if you haven't already done so, make sure you sign in for FITS IV. Start getting some more chatter going on in there. I know there's plenty of you all wanting to go, just to lazy to post it. Well here's your motivation, now MOVE!!!!! hahaha.

BTW, i'm doing great! Got a big SHOCK the other day from work. I'll tell you all about it in March when you show up. Vern, Ernie and Bethaney might already know about it.

later,
mike

Well let's see, mod city has taken over since receiving my tax return. Bought an Engel Fridge, slide lock for it, an ARB Awning, and the 4.10 gears front and rear. Slowly getting all the parts delivered to the apartment. Should have the gears sometime early next week along with the ARB Awning. Hopefully the fridge will be here next week too. Gunna be a fun year I hope, will be a while before the gears get installed, wanting to get the lockers installed at the same time but I won't be getting those for about 3-4 months when I will have hopefully saved up enough to get them. Work has been hectic lately, and hot. Well hope all is well with everyone else, laters.

Just a simple "yes" or "no" will do...

Your "bike" and "spandex riding outfit" are now official or will be shortly???

AJ, nope sorry, maybe next year. hahaha.

Bike shorts aren't official yet, I'll be doing my Pacific Blue impersonations this week training; then we'll see where it goes from there.

Scott, way cool. Been thinking of awning too. Of course still have many other little things to fix up first.

I'm here-- always lurking!!
Always getting ideas and tips from LOST especially the CRD postings.
So many mods, so little time and money!
But very happy with the Jeep and I long for the next "third weekend" gathering which is the Four Peaks/feasting/meeting.

I can say my 1" (KK forks) lift is done and I am still achieving low 30's MPG highway. City mileage got really hurt as it take alot more energy to hurl taller tires down the road from a dead stop.

But anyway lots more details/talk we can do at the next run.

BTW work is taking still alot of my time and many weekends are sacrificed but count on me to attend the meeting run and FITS IV.

I miss that little liberty. I love my unlimited now but I had some good times with the liberty. Glad to see it's doing well. Didn't get a chance to see or talk to the new owner. Hopefully I'll run into it again and invite the new owner to a lost event

Just been scrambling to get things in place since I have returned from down under. Multiple problems with the KJ but getting them worked out. Have a superskid to put on, a CB, got Al's arms installed and an All J rack. Broke out the cutting torch the other day to remove some old seized and rusted parts. Did a weekend with the Air National Guard this weekend, going back to Tucson to make up some time with them this week and next(Vern, I'd like to drop in and say hi one of these nights if you are available.) Runnin n gunnin! can't wait for the March run folks:)

Well I've been running around willy-nilly trying to get a deal closed for a house of my own, the Jeep has kinda taken a back seat to other events for now :( Did have a chance to do lunch with Ernie the other day, great seeing you again bud!

Finally getting the hang of waking up at 4am for work, only going in three days a week helps (even if they are Fri, Sat and Sun). Hope to have a chance to get out on a weekend run sometime later this spring or summer, as soon as I get enough vacation time saved up.

k

Man, man, man!!!! And didn't even mention he helped me out lifting my KJ.........What a guy!!! Sure made things easier for me, even though it did take alot longer than any of us would have thought. Oh yeh, by the way.................I owe you dinner for the help. I'll be back out there on the 24th, and with you having weekdays off, maybe we can meet up for a quick run!!!!!
