I want to thank Vern, his brother and nephew for coming out and doing some wheeling on sunday. Vern literally kicked booty.
He ran Appetizer, Tax collector, Firebird and Tie Road wash. It was so awesome to see a KJ in these washes. He did suffer a nice gash in the door unfortunately. When he going up and over a waterfall that is about 5 or 6 feet tall a rock at the top that is usually staionary decided to roll and it swung around and got him in the door/rocker right above the boulder bar. This was about 1/4 way through firebird and Vern still said bring more on. :D I cannot understate how rocky firebird is. It is one long rock garden from the beggining to end. It was just totally awesome to see the KJ do these trails. Vern should get a LOST medal or something the past two times i have been out with him he has broke new ground for the KJ. Last time we did CK he ran every obstacle no problemo. Then he comes out and does the Tanks which i am sure no KJ has ever done. Great job Vern!!! Once again you looked like DR Rock. Thanks for showing up and you have a great and very friendly family and i want to do some of those trails your brother was talking about. I have no pics but i know i took some great ones of you with your camera yesterday. You will have to post some so you can show what your KJ conquered. Vern you ROCK!!!!

What a blast!
My boulder bars got a serious workout this trip. There was one spot though even the boulder bars couldn't help me.
What's the difference between a mall rat and a rock crawler?- "Body damage"

Travis:
Thanks so much for your's and Kevin's patience in spotting me through the trail. I made it all the way through but it took a lot of time, expert spotting, and rock stacking to make it through. I couldn't have made it without you guys!

There is no break on this trail you gotta work for every inch, but it was fun. This is definitely the hardest trail I have ever done. My inexperience showed, but with a lot of help from my friends I got by.

Who's next?

Here's a small sample of pictures to whet your appetite. I'll post more when I get a chance:
