Hi everyone,

I'm compiling a list of local area destinations related to the upcoming Fun in the Sun (F.I.T.S!) run in January. This will be a list of things to do or see aside from the planned events (more info on them forthcoming).

Since the group camp area will be in the east valley at Usery Mountain Park, I'm looking for things in that area. Please make any recommendations and I'll inlcude them.

So far:

Usery Mountain Park - trails, etc. Shooting range, Archery, R/C aircraft
Goldfield Ghost Town
Lost Dutchman State Park
Saguaro Lake, or any of the lakes
Apache Trail, Tortilla Flats, Roosevelt Dam
Superstition Mountains - Peralta trail for hiking
Arizona Aircraft Museum (Arizona Wing, Commemorative Air Force) Falcon Field, scenic flights
Gold Canyon, etc. - golf
Superstition Springs Mall
Horseback riding
Fort McDowell Casino
Fountain Hills
