I've been looking at the Broken Arrow trail up by Sedona for a while. My rockrails should be getting shipped this week and my skids will be following shortly after (finally!). Has anyone here run this trail before and is it passable in a non-lifted KJ? The scenery looks spectacular. Here's a brief description: http://4x4trails.net/db_view_trail.php?trailNum=272 |

I've run it but I was lifted and armored. I don't know if any of our stock liberty's have run it. I know the modified one's have done it no problem. It's not too tough, and it's very scenic. You should be able to do it if you're careful. We've gotten stock Liberty's through some pretty amazing places, like Chiva Falls. Lot's of pink jeep traffic, but a fun trail. |

Ok. Thanks. I may have to go try it when I get my armor. I'd love a lift, but that's just not in the budget right now. The scenery in the area is definitely some of the best in the state though. |

This is a great short trail with beautiful scenery. I ran it with a stock height libby but with full belly armor and rock rails and would highly recommend a minimum of an engine skid. This is mostly for the part called the steps. Check this out for some pics: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=7072 As a side note, if you are going to wheel your stock height KJ, buy all the skids and some good quality rock rails, you will be glad you did. - Tom |

I've already got the Super Skink Sliders ordered (should be shipped tomorrow ![]() *EDIT: By the way, after I get all this installed, is there anyone who would be interested in doing this run? I'm pretty new to wheeling and would kinda like some experience from people who know. |

DesertKJ, We would be up for running it with you sometime if you wouldn't mind doing it on a Sunday as Teresa works Sat. day and I work Sat. night. But Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday are free. |

Maybe we could combine it with our Sunday 11/12 run, do Sedona on Saturday and make a weekend of it. |

Hmm. As of right now, I can't do anything 11/12 as that's actually my 18th birthday (I'm actually one of the youngest on here. I just try not to act like it. My parents joke around with me saying I was born old). However, may need to think about scheduling that becuase it sounds like a lot of fun. Anyways, I'm still waiting for my Super Skink Sliders and I just got paid today so skids are getting ordered this weekend. *EDIT: Definite nope for me. I forgot that I'll be doing the final editing of a massive paper due the 13th in my AP English class. No way around it either as it is supposed to be done in segments and edited by peers beforehand. ![]() |
