Anyone up for a run on the 10th or 11th?

Hey Guys,

Looking to do a run on the 10 or the 11th anyone up for it?

I was thinking the Florence area, box Canyon, Coke Ovens, Martiez Cabin (canyon also depending).

I haven't gotten any replies to my post - so I might join you. It'd be nice to try someplace new anyway. Sunday would be my preference, but I can make Saturday work if needed...

I'm up for a run- Sat would be my preference, but I might be able to make Sun afternoon.

Hey This is closer to Phx then it is to Tucson so I guess it still is your run in the Phx area.

At this point I have one Sat and one Sun and I can do either day so lets see who else posts and then we will pick a day based on Majority Sound OK with you all?

With that benig said AZSCOUT, SLIVERKJMX, Corwin, FUNMUD, LOSTTJ, VERN, Where are you guys lets go out and have some fun.

I missed people I know but That is all I could think of off the top of my head

You would have to pick a weekend I'm out of town. Dang, and I've been wanting to do coke ovens too.
I'm open for a run the following weekend, 17 or 18.

I'm free on Saturday, have to work on Sunday. Dan, it looks like this is an area where drivers need a State Land Trust permit? I'll see about heading down and picking myself one up tomorrow. I may have to ride along with someone if we do some of the trails since I don't have a lift and only have minimal armor underneath. Let me know.

What time would we start and how long does it take? I've got something I've got to be back in Tucson for at 4pm.

I've also got some friends that want to come and bring their new Unlimited. It has some stock protection, but nothing solid- no rock rails.

I might have to do something quick closer to Tucson.

Usualy we meet around 9am at the Cotton wood Road I think that is the name of it. basicly the entrance off of Highway 79. Its about 10 miles north of Florence, or about 3 miles south of Apache Junction. People in Phx usual just meet at the meeting spot. People in tucson usual meet at the Highway exit 236 (marana Exit) on I10 and then caravan up at around 7am. I have never gotten off this trail before 5ish so 4:00 in tucson isn't realistic. This is a fun trip and perfect for stock jeeps it gives you a tast etc. Please let me know if you all are intreasted.

I'd really like to go, but i have to work Saturday and have a Birthday party to be at by noon Sunday. If you decide to have another run next weekend i can be there for sure. Sat or Sun or both.

So I was just informed that My saturday is booked I have to take care of my son and help my grandmother.... I would say that you and corwin should go do the coves + if it is going to rain its not best to go into box canyon

if you have ever been there you know what I mean.

No worries. I spoke with Dave (AZSCOUT) and we are going to do the Rolls (Butcher Jones) mentioned in my post tomorrow instead.

We'll definitely need to reschedule the Box Canyon run soon!
