Hey, I just saw this on a local quadding website that I frequently visit. I thought it would be a good idea to forward it here.

"Fellow OHV'ers:

The Bureau of Land Management is hosting three meetings to gather input on Comprehensive Travel Management in the Bumble Bee, Table Mesa, Lake Pleasant and San Domingo Wash areas. Maps will be on site and we MUST defend our routes or risk losing them!!

Here are the meeting times/locations: (all meetings run from 6:30pm to 8pm)

DEER VALLEY SENIOR CENTER
2001 W. Wahalla Lane, Phoenix

April 24th

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Morristown Elementary School
25950 Rockaway Hills Drive, Morristown

April 25

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Albins Civic Center
19005 E. K-Mine Road Center
Black Canyon City

April 26th

They say that the routes designated at these meetings will be part of a draft travel management map to be released THIS FALL!?! So, we are on the fast track, be sure to come and draw in your favorite routes or risk losing them FOREVER!!""

I'll be at the one on the 24th. It is right around the corner from my house.
I'm hoping to see a"spokesman/speaker" there. I can count as "numbers" but i do not have enough knowledge about this stuff yet to get up and speak.

Do you know if this has already been posted on the AZVJC forum? I'm kinda thinking with the cleanup there at Table Mesa, there should be a nice turnout for these meetings. I'm with you. I may go for numbers, but I dont have a clue about speaking (and I don't think many people take people my age very seriously unfortunately).

I'm planning on going now that I just found out that a favorite area of mine for quadding in the Coconino Forest just got closed until September 2009 and I don't want that to happen here.
