Post subject:  Jeep Rubicon for rent?

Hey guys, does anybody know of a place where I can rent a Rubicon or a lifted jeep to go off roading? I am wanting to do an outing to Crown King with my brother in law and I am trying to see if there is a place where he can rent a Jeep. The only one I found is adventure jeep rentals which goes $400 a day, which I think is crazy...let me know.

Also, how was the event this weekend?

Not to sidestep your question but....why don't you just go in the KJ? I took my old '05 KJ when it was bone stock to Crown King a couple of years ago. It had less than 500 miles on the odometer.

Hey Carlos, see you should have just gone with us this last weekend. Don't know of anybody sorry. Maybe enterprise or budget. The JK should make it easily too.

I loved the area and am ready for another trip back up there.

A stock liberty can make it so a stock wrangler can make it too. Just rent the bone stock wrangler from budget or someone.

Try Farabees in Sedona, not too far from Crown King. I rented from them a few years ago (before I got the KJ). The rates were reasonable. http://www.sedonajeeprentals.com/rates.htm The jeeps were real nice. You can rent for 4, 8 or 24hrs. Hope this helps. :D

Thanks guys, if a stock KJ can make it then I think we should be fine by renting a stock wrangler from Budget.

Here are some photos my wife and I took on our recent trip to Sedona...I hope to add some photos soon of the Crown King trail there...
