I just recieved some shiney red UCAs and a Frankie front. Does anybody have experience putting this stuff on the Jeep? This is above the level of mechanics I have ever tackled. I would of course be able to provide food, beverages, and whatever else needed.......Let me know if there are any takers out there! |

A friend of mine and I put the Frankenlift in my old Liberty over the course of a weekend. The rear took about 1.5 hours...the front took all dang day! I don't have the aptitude to help you by myself but if there's a shindig organized and work isn't on fire I'd be happy to throw a greasy elbow into the mix. |

I did my Daystar install by myself - took a day and a half but I was going slow and figuring things out as I went along. Later on I installed a UCA on the drivers side to replace the one I had torn the ball joint boot on ![]() ![]() |

I'm willing to help although I've not done it before. Problem is I am booked solid the entire month of november. Any other time and I'm interested. |

Thanks everybody for your offers of help. M&P40- I would really like to take you up on your offer. I am off on weekends, so just let me know when is good for you. I am not sure if I have all the tools required. I do have a garage and with a little adjusting, (we just moved in) there would be enogh room. just let me know whereand when is best for you. My offer is still out to any others that would also like to join in the festivities. |

Somewhere here on L.O.S.T. is a detailed step-by-step install doc for the Frankenlift. There are only a few absolute must have tools and a few more that make the job easier. I'll look around and see if I still have the printout from my install but it's been a couple of years. |

My offer is still out to any others that would also like to join in the festivities. PM me for the time and maybe I can make it. I am in Queen Creek, which is not far from Chandler and I have some tools. I am hoping to help someone else out this month with an Frankenlift CRD install, so I can't promise I can help. Plus I have a lift pump, SEGR, CAT Fuel Filter adapter, tranny cooler, fuel-filter bleeder valve, and soon a snorkel and instrument pod with gauges laying around to install. That is assuming I finish the rock rails today (only got two hours help from a friend two weeks ago and am have wisely decided to wait for help instead of dealing with the rail hitting me in the head). I have done the Frankenlift / Al's arms on the CRD though, so it can't be harder on the gasser (which has more room to work and wiggle). |
