Hello LOST AZ peoples.. I might be gracing yalls prescence for a bit here in December. Namely Dec 10-12. I might be taking an on-site interview in Yuma, AZ at the Yuma Proving Grounds for a Test Engineer position. Pretty excited about it, the phone interview went really well, i reckon now it will be up to what happens in person. Maybe if anyone is in the Yuma area we can get together for a bit or something on the 10th depending on when i would fly in or on the night of the 11th for dinner perhaps or something. I'll update this as it gets closer too. LATERS!!! -Scott |

Cool Scott, would be great to have another member in AZ. As far as the Yuma area. I'm not positive but dont think we have any members that far west. I know Sandracer lives out that way somewhere. Let us know how it goes. mike |

Born in Knoxville, dad had UT season tickets from 1965 – 1978 and I went to most of the home games because mom didn’t like the cold. I have been here since 1979 with a short (4 yrs) stint in LA. |

Believe it or not that is from a snow day here in Memphis back in January or February of this year. I'm a little anxious/nervous about everything, but also very excited about the work I will be doing. Helping protect our troops by making sure they have the best, safest equipment is pretty cool work... |

Scott - congrats. You should be excited about where you are moving if you like wheeling in the sand or on the beach. Imperial sand dunes are a half an hour away; El Golfo de Santa Clara (the beach in Mexico) is an hour and a half away; San Diego is a couple hours away... I'm sure you'll find trails in the hills around Yuma as well! I know we have at least one forum member living in Yuma that wants to wheel... Todd |

Dunno yet. Our Fun in the Sun Run is the end of January. February is wide open right now. The end of March is Moab. We'll be posting a 2008 monthly schedule at some point soon... I know a few people have wanted to go to the dunes. Maybe we can try and get something going in your area for once! Todd |

Sounds good, I know when flying over Yuma there were tons of tracks i could see going everywehre out in the desert...I'm gunna have to invest in some sort of GPS if I don't get one for Christmas like I asked...I'm hoping for a laptop based one though since I have a small laptop that could be mounted up quite easily and could also contain music too...I don't have an iPod so it wiould act like that as well...I look forward to meeting you guys/gals once i settle into the Arizona lifestyle and workforce...I'll be seeing yas!!! |
