Okay, I need some opinions from everyone. I figured I would start this post now so anyone who wants to go can have appropriate time to request off work.
First and most importantly, I would like to hear back from those that plan to attend and which weekend would work best for everyone:
The weekend of May 3 or
The weekend of May 10
I figured we could get up there Friday afternoon/evening, off road Saturday and possibly do a short run Sun if anyone is interested.
Here is a link to the camping info: http://www.camparizona.com/Campsites/PaysonCampsites/Haigler%20Canyon.htm
It is a VERY primitive campsite, if there are issues with that I can try to find another site or there is the Pleasant Valley Inn in Young that people can stay at.:)There is A gas pump inside Young however, it does not have diesel so if anyone needs diesel fuel I would highly suggest filling up in either Payson or Globe.(Depending on which way you come in) If there is an emergency I do know someone who has a 50 Gallon drum filled with diesel in town.
Let me know what you all think and if there are any questions I can answer. :D

I'm in for the weekend of the 10th. The ASA4WDC convention is the weekend of the 3rd.
Here is a link to campground information I found;

Thanks Beth for setting us up, this is going to be a great weekend!

Well I was hoping to make it, but I found out today that I'll be covering for a co worker the whole month of may since the lucky sensored word was able to take off the whole month to island hop in the pacific since he saved up all his "free" time. And the only time i'll actually have off will be when I go home for my ceremonial graduation on May 9th. I do hope yall have fun getting this event put together and completed. HAPPY TRAILS!!!

I'll say May 10th for now, hopefully everything will settle out at work around mid-April and I can get back to some semblance of a life...

One potential problem- May 11 is Mothers Day. A lot of folks may not be able to make that weekend. How about the following weekend 5/17/08?

I will go if I get an issue ironed out with the Jeep, otherwise I can ride along if someone has room.

I am sure there will be plently of extra seats. If you don't mind a dog in the car, I will have an extra seat.

Okay so lets start a list of people who plan on attending:
FUNNMUD +1
Pablo (maybe)
oldhockeyvb
M&P40 +1 or 2
corwyyn
Neatus?

If the above people, or everyone who plans on attending, could let me know if they plan on arriving Friday or Saturday that way we can plan meeting spots and times. Once I figure this out we can plan the food situation too!
Also let me know which route you plan on taking there, through Payson or through Globe. If you have no idea how to get there, let me know and I can post directions from Phoenix and Tucson area.
Any other questions, post them up!! This should be a great trip, lots of different runs and some GREAT scenery! Plus you get to see good ol' Young, AZ which is a trip in itself...

I guess I should tell everyone what time I will be arriving too... I plan on getting into Young at around 4 to 4:30 on Friday afternoon. Vern, if you want to (and anyone else who is planning on coming up Friday afternoon) we can meet in town and grab a bite to eat before heading off to the campsite. The name of the place is Antlers it is on the main road in Young and has some decent food. :D
There is NO cell phone service in Young so it is VERY important that we get this all together before we go because if someone gets lost or needed directions but forgot to ask, there is really not too much we can do. :?
M&P40~ I figure we will start exploring around 9 or 10. This is not going to be just one run with one destination though... There are tons of little runs with some amazing destinations! If you want to come up later we can pick a time and a spot in town to meet you whenever  Just let me know!
As far as food goes now Friday night:
Either eat at Antlers or grill
Saturday
Breakfast- ideas????
Lunch- Bring something and put it in a cooler, we'll be eating on the trail!
Dinner- Let's grill! Vern did you say you had a grill you could bring?? I can bring burgers and some chili if you do and if that sounds good to everyone.
