Okay, it looks like we may have a pretty good turn out for this run. It's time to get the food list going. I'd like to get a head count on who is going to show and what everyone is bringing so we know how much food we need to rustle up. You can't feed an army without knowing how many troops you have. Please let me know how many people will be with you and what you can bring so I can post it to the list. - AZKJ +1 - baked beans, macaroni salad, pickles, grill - rkeegsta +1 - jumbo dogs - 08k - burgers, grill - M&P40 - condiments, table, grill grate, charcoal - Pablo - burger buns, side dish - desertkj - chips Looks like we have everything... thanks!!! Bring your own drinks AND plenty of water (it's supposed to hit 90*)..... Also posted on Jeep KJ Country |

I'm a definite and will be solo. What are the thoughts on the bbq time, lunch'ish or dinner'ish? I will need to be at roosevelt lake by 4 pm so I probably need to leave around 3'ish. If lunch is the plan I'm in if dinner I will be gone. Either way I'm in to hang out until 3 but don't let me limit you all, I'll enjoy whatever we do I have a small gas grill I can bring to cook a few burgers on, and I can bring whatever else is needed Either way I have tons of paper plates,napkins, and plastic ware I'll bring so that's covered See everybody saturday! |

Vern... we'll head straight to the first cove and set up a camp as soon as we get on the trail. Then folks can head back out to play on the trails or hang around camp and splash in the lake. We can start cooking about 1200-1300. We'll get ya fed before you have to head out for Roosevelt Lake!!! The small gas grill would come in handy IF someone comes up with a bag of frozen burgers and some buns. I'll put you down for the grill and paper plates etc., that will be more than enough... thanks. |
