I'd really like to do BC at night but I have to work that night so I'm out. Might try it in a month or so

We will taking the Sierra Expedition vehicles on a night run through Box Canyon on Saturday night July 19, 2008. We'll start from the North at Mineral Mountain Rd and the US-60 and exit on Price rd and 79. This run will be open to 10 vehicles. I would expect this to more interesting than the normal run with the monsoons and current weather we have been having. Currently the Weather is predicted to be mid 80°'s and 60% chance of isolated t-storms. Due to the weather, the trail will not be as easy as normal and I am requesting that participants have the following vehicle requirements: - 30"+ tires in good condition (no bald tires due to chance of mud) - recovery points (front and rear recommended) - working lights (spare bulbs recommended) Meeting spot: Air down loacation at Mineral Mountain Rd and the US-60. Meeting Time: 18:30 (6:30 pm) Coms: CB Channel 4 (I haven't graduated to 2m yet) Use 33.262662,-111.27511 in Google Maps. That sounds like fun. I don't think I'll be able to make it my weekend is pretty full but thanks for posting. I look forward to seeing you on the trail soon! |
