Hello All, Well the last two days have been productive for the New BLACK JEEP. Mods Completed: New After Market CD Player (Wasn't a Fan of the AM/FM Cassette) New 31 10.5 15 BFG AT KO Spare to Match the 4 on the ground They person I bought it from had a 5th Matching rim that he gave with the jeep. CB Antenna, CB (WORKS REALLY WELL for a 45dll Radio Shack Special) Mods Ordered SKID ROW Engine SKID SKID ROW XFER SKID SKID ROW GAS SKID Kevins Off Road Rock Rails JKS Quicker Anti Sway Bar Disconnects Then I took it out in the Desert to see how the 3" lift and 31's would do. Everying was good I hear a clicking in the front end almost like there is a Locker (I will have to open her up and check it out, since I will be in there I will do a fluid change) JJ whats the price for your stuff? She did very well with the exception of being open in the rear Had to fake it with the Brake pedal (Learning to 4x4 on a Liberty really pays off) Here are a couple obiglatory Flex Pics.
Thats all for now Later Dan |

Hello all, Well today was a day for more modifications / improvements. I swaped some of the New parts I put on my 93 POS i got several months ago into the new jeep. I moved over the new Belt pulley, Belt, and Alternator over and put the stuff I took off the 94 back onto the 93 (GOING TO GET IT RUNNING AND SELL THE 93) The jeep was too hot to finish the other new stuff from the other jeep so I will do those later this week. Which are to move the new CAP Rotor, Spark Plugs, and wires I also found out what the clicking noise was. I took it off road today and brought a buddy (FISO) and he was able to listen from the outside and this is what it was. The Driver side Engine mount is so bad that when you put any torque on the wheels it transfers back to the engine and the driverside twists up a complete 3 to 4 " and the fan starts to rub on the Fan shroad. Now I know I need new Engine mounts but at least it isn't a bad CV later for now Dan |

Well Last weekend I did the following: I got the New motor mounts purchased and Installed NO more Engine shifting in 4wheel drive Also got the JKS Quicker Disconnects installed, Now just have to figure out a mounting place for the parts when the Jeep is disconnected. Got the Rock Rails cleaned up and several coats of Paint on them. Had to cancel the Purchase of the Skid Row gas skid and ended up going with a Rusty's skid (SKID ROW was on backorder for 4 weeks) Next up for this weekend Cut out the Rocker clean them up and weld a new plate on. Install Rocker Protection Install Engine Skid Install Xfer Skid Figure out why I have air in my cooling system. (THINK IT IS A BAD CAP) Almost ready for a real trip out on the trail. YEAAAAAAA Later, Dan |
