Early last Sunday morning a fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Thomas and Hayden roads. One of my close friends was the victim, he was on his way home from work; here is a link to one of the many news stories: http://www.abc15.com/content/news/phoenixmetro/story.aspx?content_id=776f1cc5-f00a-4576-bd6d-afaa29fa5833 To make a long story short, before I start tearing up again… We are holding a benefit car wash with 100% of the proceeds going to Brad’s family. It is going to be held on Sunday, December 7th, 2008 at the Dirty Dogg Saloon from 1p.m. til 5p.m. The address is 10409 N. Scottsdale Road Scottsdale, AZ 85253. Please tell friends and family about this event too, I would like to provide as much help as possible for Brad’s family. If you are not sure you can make it to the car wash but would still like to donate let me know and I can make sure the funds go to the right place. Thank you for your time in reading this. I know a lot of you are not in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area but if you could pass this on to those who are it would be greatly appreciated. ~Bethany |

Beth, sorry for the loss of your friend. You and his family will be in my prayers. I wish I could make it up to get a car wash for a good cause. The KJ really needs a bath. I'll let some of my friends that live up that way know about it though. Mike |

Beth and i just saw this thread... we're very sorry for you and the family's loss. We can't make the car wash, but if you could post up something were folks could make a donation... we'll be more than happy to do so. AJ and Beth |

Thank you for taking the time to read and for the well wishes. They did not set up a memorial account but, I have been taking donations at my work (Desert Schools Federal Credit Union) and I am just going to cut a money order on Saturday to bring to the car wash on Sunday. If you would like just PM me and I can give you the account info, it is set up in his name so the receipt would say "for benefit of Brad Kuhn" Thank you again. This has been very hard and I know his family appreciates any support, monetary or not. ~Bethany |
