I have a question for everyone. I came back from work today and noticed that there was a leak under the KJ when I parked...there is also liquid on the wheelwell, undernead the car and in some hoses. About a month ago I recently took it to Bill Luke and they told me it had a Power Steering Hose leak that needed to be changed at some point. With the leak I had today, what ever it is I guess needs to be changed rather quickly. The thing is...I dont think it is a power steering leak..at least not this one. Here are some photos I took. The liquid seems to be pink and a little slippery but not much. There was only a little bit of fluir missing in the water reservoir but not much and the temperature of the car seems to stay stable...here are some photos...HELP!

Carlos, is your AC working? Possible it is your refrigerant. How about your Trans fluid? Pink suggest trans fluid but the amount you have there seems to suggest something high pressure is spraying out. Maybe it would help if your ran the vehicle and looked for the leak. Top everything off and see if you can get it to leak while running.

The D-F Frog is correct - Coolant leak
Looks like from the radiator area maybe a hose connection or actual leak from the radiator.
Orange-pink color= HOAT G5 coolant.
Water based fluid likes to migrate/ defy gravity - that explains fluid all over inner fender.

FWIW

Yep, I agree with you guys, I think it is a coolant leak...HOAT is redish so I think that might be it...I will take it to the shop tomorrow...do you see any advantage in taking it to a Jeep Dealer as opposed to Pep Boys or something like this?

Thanks to everyone for your help by the way, I was freaking out yesterday thinking it might be something worse...

I'm not a fan of either one, but of the two, I'd pick the dealer over Pep Boys. Your best bet is to find a reputable local shop you can trust and build a relationship with. They're out there, you just have to look around and get recommendations from friends and co-workers etc.

If you are anywhere near the Superstition Springs area, in East Mesa, let me know. I have a shop I can highly recommend to you.
