Only place to purchase a Frankenlift is thru All-Js in California (unless you purchase a used one). As far as install shops, I would try Four Wheelers at 36th and Washington, might be some others around who would do a good job.

EDIT: for the install you could also post here and see if anyone is available to help install it. I know there are plenty of members who have installed their own lifts, just a matter of if they are available.

Yeah i was looking at there site (boulderbars) I will probably have to pay a shop to do it i dont have the tools to put the lift in or the knowledge.

Ill see if Four Wheelers on washington can do it, but i'm still a ways away from having the cash just seeing whats available. Worse comes to Worse ill take a 2 or 3 day trip out to California and install with Boulderbars

If you go to 4Wheelers ask for Mike and tell him Todd Lawrence (me) sent you. Not that you'll get a discount or anything, but they've done all the work on my KJ since '03. They put my Franky on this time last year.

Todd... if I may be so bold to ask... how much for the lift and getting it installed? LOL I'm still trying to talk Beth into letting me lift the Liberty.

X2 on 4 Wheelers. Been there a few times and have always got good service and fair prices.

Just thought I would throw this out there. I will help anyone on the board lift their KJ. I have taken apart and put mine back together many times and have all the tools to do it. Cost to you would be something to eat and a few beers.

p.s. No warranties here

AJ - I can't really say how much since I had a bunch of other work done at the same time. It's too tough to narrow it down. My guess is at least $250 for the labor.

I've spent so much money there over the years they joke that I keep their lights on. If I only I had taken auto shop in high school instead of all the other shop classes... DOH!

Anyhow, they've always been cool and done great work. Worth the extra $$$ IMO.

4wheelers supply is a great shop with an impeccable reputation. Absolute Offroad is also a great shop but I believe has a waiting list. If your on the East Side call Desert Fab, they might be able to install it for you. If you go to AO or DF, tell them djui5 from VJC sent you :)
