Not exactly an overland adventure, but still one of the funnest little towns in Arizona:

Went up to see Tramps and Thieves play the 'Bloody Mary set' Saturday afternoon at the Spirit Room. Stayed that night in the Connor Hotel in room #1 at the corner. Day drank while the rains (yea!) came down and listened to some great music.

Room #1 is nice. It's double the size of the their normal rooms. King size bed is a bit too firm for my taste, though. Of course since you are over the bar you better have ear plugs if you are a light sleeper... Also all the bikers like to rev it up accelerating out of the corner. We expected that though. Way too much charm to not try and stay there!
