Well a few of you all know about my recent news, but i thought i'd share with the rest of my great friends that i've made here on LOST....

I have accepted a transfer to Louisiana!!! I'd like to say it was a hard decision to leave Arizona (actually it has been) but moving to LA will put me closer to my son. I am already bummed about having to leave, but excited about a new change. I'm gonna miss everything i've gained out here in work, home and most of all my wheeling buddies. It's gonna be a long drive back to make FITS and TrickrJeep (at which I'll be stepping down from my position).

I'm looking at making another memorable AZ trip before I leave at the beginning of November. I'm thinking of driving the whole southern border of AZ (or most of it) or just a trip out to Camino del Diablo. Still trying to figure out dates on when and where I wanna go.

Thanks for everybody's support that they've given to me the last handful of years. I feel blessed to have made such great friends through AZ LOST both old (Dan, DH, Vern, Dynateam) and new (AJ/ Beth, Ernie, Roland, Casey, Pablo) and heck even the Cali guys that helped me into this great sport. I'm gonna miss the camaraderie and friendships I've made with all of you. I hope the Southern group will be just as great.

Later,
Mike

Mike/Katelynn... Beth and I will be sad to see you guys go. When you find a place that makes good gumbo and po boys, let us know and we'll be out for a visit!!

Whatever run you want to put together before you leave is good by us. The sooner you can set a date, the better chance Beth has getting it off. The people at GCU are jerks about time off.

AJ, thanks. We'd love to have you all out to visit.

I'll start researching my days off and places this week.

Hey all the good luck to you!!

La-- Hot and Humid in the Summer -- and -- Hot and Humid in the Winter!!

Lots of good hunting and fishing though.

I had spent some time in Houston years ago and heard Louisiana is close to same on conditions.

If you plan a Southern Arizona run please with some advance time I can try to get off work-- stupid work has a lot of LOSTERs tied down and hopefully the bosses can allow time off with advance notice.

This club has gifted me the aquaintance of making good friends and you and yours will be missed.
Maybe after a few years when say LOST Louisiana and LOST Az have a joint run you will see me in a J8 diesel pulling a travel trailer!

Roland

Congratulations Mike, I'm glad everything is working out for you!
This is a decision you will be especially glad you made twenty years from now. Good for you for staying focused on what really matters in life. We're going to miss you and Katelynn, but wish you all the best!

Everyone, thank you very much. I'll be in Lake Charles (only a few hours from Nawoleins).

I'll see you all at TrJ so you'd better show up!

JJ, come on out for this or Camino del Diablo.

later,
mike
