Hey, I would like to try to get in on this one. It would be me (wifeless) and the doggies, and we would probably have to meet you at the trailhead (at what, 9:30?).

darn, I gotta back out. My mom needs an emergency fill in speaker for her photo club, and I seem to be it. Tomorrow's subject - white balance. Yay.

See you next time.

Well here's a rare notice:
Work (Stupid work) has me tied up till at least 1PM. Need to pass and feel sad. Seems other fellow employees do not want to show to work and that makes me have to cover.
Jobs are hard to find yet people just need "last second" time off- This is not my style, work is a necessary thing and a certain level of professional responsibility has to be "granted" to it and I have never asked for last second time off in the 22 years I have been with this company.- this really bites!
So I will NOT be pulling my NV242 Xfer case shifter to 4 LO on a consecutive AZ LOST sanctioned run in over a year plus running!
So so sad...........
:furious:

Yeah Roland, that bites big time. I had my fingers crossed after I saw you this morning, and you told me the story. I know you won't be there tomorrow, but I'll still be looking in my mirrors to see if that shiney, red Silverdiesl with the dancing antenna is behind me (old habits are hard to break)....

What can I say?? It's the middle of the winter. We're wearing shorts and t-shirts, and we're out doing a very scenic trail with AZ LOST JEEPS!! It doesn't get much better. The trail itself wasn't all that challenging. It had a few hard spots and almost the entire trail was covered with softball sized rocks. It made for slow going and took us a little over 6 hours to travel 20 miles.

Here are a few pictures from todays trip....

Robert, Todd... thanks for coming out!! It was nice meeting Roberts friends in the Tacoma. Beth and I really enjoyed the day and hope to see everyone again soon!!

Rex... I'm glad your grandfather had a nice military service. I'm sure your family and his friends are real proud of him.

Hey, anytime you and your crew are ready to run this trail, post up. Tell Blake to bring a PBJ for me!! Silverdiesel missed today's trip too because of stupid work. I'm sure he wants to run it. Usually Friday or Sunday work best for him.
