One way that was not discussed for compelling new Jeep owners to signup and at the same time don't feel their rigs are ready for the trails is "Tech Day" (workshop/help sessions)
When we did the Automatic Cooler Tech Day last May it got to be a Sticky on the CRD Tech section!
I was very humbled and honored for this status and all I really wanted to do was help and share my knowledge of automatic transmission coolers, their benefits and installs--

Lots of new people post up and say they are still without Belly skids and or rails and stuff and perhaps we can have a Tech Day to help those folks with installation and such.
Anyway a Tech Day is a good way to attract new members. This is my suggestion.

Roland

Roland... I wouldn't be much help turning the wrenches, but I have basic tools I could loan for the day. I could be the official gopher and photographer to help document the event....

I'd be down to help out. I got a compressor, and air tools/etc, and have done a lot of work on my KJ.

i'm definitely down for a tech day. I'm not exactly the most technically coordinated guy out there. I'm gonna need some help fabricating and installing a brake line relo for my rear brakes due to the lift. I'm running it with the stock brake line mounting right now... Also will be looking to install skids and two hooks at some point... and a CB antenna... the list goes on and on... help from you guys will really help me learn what I'm doing! :)
