We'll be passing right through the western PHX area on our way down toward Yuma on Feb 14th.

Should be just about time for an early dinner... anyone want to plan a little meet on our way to Baja?

There's a Dos Gringos close to Elliot and I-10... Exit Elliot heading east, then south on 56th/Priest about a 1/4mile on the west side of the road.

Yeah... we'll probably be looking for a little break and some grub before we hit the road again for a few more hours... something quick and social would be fine as we can't hang out all evening

Looks like we're heading I-17 to 101 to I-10 through Sun City area if that helps anyone.

Wave to my grandparents on your way through...

Tell them to wait on the side of the road and I'll high-5 them out the window! :D

I'm not to familiar with the northwest / westside of town. If you are heading down the 101 I know there's the development all around the Cardinals stadium that has a lot of restaurants...

Are you planning on taking I-10 all the way to CA (L.A.), or cutting down SR 85 to I-8 (San Diego)?

We're stopping in Yuma for the night and heading to Calexico early in the A.M. for the border crossing.

Now were talking, that's my 'hood. That would be the place to go if you are coming that way. The Westgate area has all kinds of eateries and what not. You can also marvel at the giant UFO looking thing where the Cardinals play

What time roughly will you be coming this way? I work on the 14th but if it is after 4 pm I work right around the corner and would be down to stop by and buy you a soda.

It will definitely be after 4pm... we are hoping to leave here around 10am... that puts us in your hood around 6pm on the early side...

Sorry, can't make it. It's a long drive from this side of town... besides, I'd have to check out your table manners first. Don't forget about packing heat on your trip....

So the schedule got bumped a little bit and we're having to drive all the way to Calexico in a day so we won't have time to stop and meet people... bummer...

I'll let you guys know if we might have a chance on the way back (around 3/7)
