with all the rain, i want to go find some mud to play in. Going to check out the peralta trail head road in gold canyon tomorrow. If anyone is interested, post up. We will meet @ gold canyon shell station at 10am

Sorry, not into mud all that much. LOL... it must be an old guy thing. Have fun and try not to tear up the trail making deep ruts etc. And don't get stuck!!

About a mile in or so on the right is a HUGE mud "playground". You can't miss it.
There are some trails off to the right that are fun when you get closer to the mountains. Just be really careful going off the road too far. The washes are going to be really flooded. Don't do something stupid just for funs sake. It's a long ways to any housing from out there.

Looks like you had fun! Is that your wife/gf taking the pictures? She's good :D

Now make sure you wash off the side of your front axle where the passenger CV meets the axle housing. This can get water/dirt into it and will wreck your CV axle. Also make sure to spray out your front and rear cross members, and ALL of your engine (while it is shut off). Just take my word for it :banghead:

Yes that is my wife. And yes, the first thing I did when I got home was get under there with the high pressure hose and cleaned it out. Thanks for lookin out :wink:
