Okay, I'm in (it'll be just me, Beth has to work). The gears looked perfect, fluid changed, the 500 mile break in period is up and my appointment for tomorrow morning has been rescheduled. I'm good to go!!

Ernie... what shopping center?? There's one on the NW corner with a Big Lots and one on the NE with a Safeway.

Tim... Roland and I are meeting at the Cracker Barrel on Chandler Blvd, just west of I-10 for a quick breakfast @ 0630 if you want to meet up there. If not, we'll see you at Love's at 0715 as previously planned.

Scott... we're proud of you!! Someone has to make sure those big guns are working like they should!! How's the KJ coming along? Still haven't got a call to do the photo shoot.

See everyone in the AM!!!

AJ

AJ, I will meet you and Roland at the Loves at 7:15. I'm not much of a breakfast guy.

See y'all tomorrow :JEEPIN:

Another great AZ LOST JEEPS run is in the history books!! Thanks Ernie for leading us through the wilderness!! It was a fun day.

Wow!!! is the only word I can come up with to describe the Chivo Falls Trail. Three Feathers was the most difficult obstacle. This is not a trail for a stock height Liberty. Ernie took the hard line down Three Feathers while Tim and I took the easier of the three lines.

The new 4.56 gears really made my JK into a totally different vehicle. The difference is night and day on the highway and on the trail. They out perform the stock 3.21 gears more than I could ever of imagined. The money to buy and have them installed was money well spent.

Here are a few pics of Ernie and Tim coming down Three Feathers....

Sorry, no pics of Roland. He decided to park the shiny red Silverdiesl at the top of Three Feathers and rode the rest of the trail with me. It was a smart move on his part because he would of definitely done some damage to his KJ had he attempted going all the way to the falls.

Thanks everyone for coming out today, I really enjoyed it!!

AJ

So where's the JK pics? Awesome line Ernie. Chiva Falls was one of the first trails the AZ Lost club did way back when everybody had KJs. hmmm I wonder if I still have those pictures laying around.

Looks like you guys had a good time ! Chiva Falls, (especially 3 feathers obstacle is a great trail).

AJ, hhhmmm, I seem to remember a conversation mentioning what gears would do for you....
Glad you like them, and really glad you went with the 4.56's............

Thanks Mike. I really like them. They're a perfect compromise for street and trail considering I went from 3.21 to 4.56.

I agree, I haven't been to Chiva in a long time. Maybe we can get a trip planned in Nov or Dec. It would be great if we can schedule it when there is some water. I love the falls when they have water!

If it's on a Friday I would most likely be down. Its kinda far off but I'm always up for weekday wheelin'. Plus I need to dominate that line on Three Feathers; it got the best of me last time.
