Beth and are are making our 6th trip to Ouray, CO and the majestic San Juan Mountains. We're leaving Phoenix Sep 3 and will return Sep 10. I'm tossing this out to see if anyone is interested in tagging along for all or part of the expedition. My old Air Force buddy is driving up from Shreveport, LA in his KJ. Beth's cousin from England is making arrangements to fly across the pond in order to do this trip with us. He'll be driving our KJ. If interested, let me know and I'll post up more details.

A couple of teaser pics....

With just over a month to go I'm bumping this to the top. It's still not too late to make plans to do this trip. So far it's Beth and I, my old AF roomie and his wife who are driving up from Shreveport, LA, and Beth's cousin from England are heading out on this year's High Altitude Expedition.

If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll post more information.

Well, now that the Test Vehicle finally showed up to YPG I got m test schedule hammered out, or at least teh one we hope to follow. Unfortunately I will need to be at YPG during the scheduled time frame of your trip. I would like to however do something over the labor Day Weekend so maybe others that won't make this trip might like to get out and hit a trail or something...

Thanks for the invite as always AJ and look forward to trail riding with you again, especially with those fancy new gears you got now!!

If you'd be willing to write my Commander a note explaining why we need to get back early, I'd love to go! I am so jealous. Those photo's are awesome!

If your CO is an O6 or below, just tell him you got permission to come home early from an old retired AF Senior NCO. We're the ones that really run the show anyway!!

He's a lowly O3. You'd probably have him standing at parade rest! :ROTFL:
