Hey Everyone, Ernie is alright, obviously shaken, not stirred, but he'll be ok it seems. I haven't spoken with him or anything but by the loks of him in the photo of sitting on the Jeep in the yard there he'll pull through. I haven't heard if he needs anything yet, I think him and Vanessa are just getting their bearings back after this hiccup and then getting settled in the houston area for the time being. I also saw that he posted about this accident himself last night in the KJ/KK section wasy up near the top, so he has recently been on LOST, which is also a sign of good health, :).

Hey guys, I did talk to Ernie a few times yesterday upon hearing about his misfortune. Scott is correct, he's a bit banged up and shaken, but thankfully alive and uninjured. Poor jeep though cant say the same. Picure pretty much says it all, after performing evassive manuvers to avoid hitting a deer (unsuccessfully) the jeep rolled. Vanessa met up with him near Pecos and they are together now. Not sure when they are taking off, but he said he'd be at is final destination in a few days.

I'm sure he'll be on here once he gets settled to let everybody know his status.

He did say he'll be back in the wheeling game as soon as possible though.

later, mike

Scott and Mike... thanks for the updates!!

I was going to call him this morning when I found out, but thought he's got other more important things on his mind rather than talking to me. He is one very lucky young man to still be with us. When either of you talk to him again, please let him know our thoughts are with him and Vanessa.

Thanks,
AJ and Beth

Scott and Mike and AJ

Your concerns show genuine friendship towards Ernie and I am glad to see he is OK.
Moving is sooo stressfull and I have travelled I10/ Pecos area 100's of times and those deer are everywhere.
Once in that area came up on a Ford Mustang one who took a buck out and then was rearended by a semi--very bad.
