Post subject:  Installing My Lift and Beggin' for Help...

I can't believe how long it's been since I've logged in. And I can't believe how long I've had my Frankenlift parts sittin' on the floor of my apartment. The project I've been on since June of last year is finally ending.

So what's a fella gotta do to get this thing installed? I've read about "install partys" and am wondering if anything like that might be going on anytime soon around the Phoenix area?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seth;
You're alive! Welcome back. I'd be up for helping out. I'm not much of a mechanic but I can wield a wrench and run to the store for parts and pizza. I'm booked next weekend but could be up for something after that if it doesn't snow which looks like a good bet.

You can put me to work if you want...I haven't done a lift, but I have read a lot about installing one. I would be more than happy to help anyway that I can! Just let me know when and where.

Yes, I'm still alive! I've been technical lead on thee project from hell and the project got extended two extra months 'til end of February.

Thanks so much for the offers of help. I can drive anywhere (we're Phoenix apartment dwellers w/no garage) any weekend to make it as convenient as I can for anyone else. I've turned a few wrenches but would never call myself a mechanic. That said, I've also read from others who've installed the lift that even amateurs shouldn't have too much trouble since the struts are pre-compressed. I've waited three months so it's not gonna kill me to wait 'til anyone else's schedule allows a Saturday or Sunday.

Thanks again everyone.

So what is our list of mods we need to do in AZ?
1 Lift for Seth
1 Diff cover for oldhockey (unless its on allready?)
1 rear locker for me
1 Fender mod for Signcutter
1 ARB for Roach (is it on yet?)
Edit: 1 set of bumpstops for me....

Vern, I checked out Ralph's shop yesterday- Air compressor, welder, room for 2 vehicles. Tools galore. I'm in California next weekend. The 18th we have our club meeting; We could all head to a shop post-chilis and work into Sat night.

Mine's in already. Couldn't wait, too impatient. Probably another weekend besides the meeting. Maybe a march get together?

I'll help out also if needed. Just let me know. I've never done major installs or anything (changed my plugs for the 1st time about a month ago), but I will also help anyway I can.

I can give ya a hand with the lift and we can use my garage if you need to. I've never put on a Liberty lift but have done lifts on other jeeps. I also have a good assortment of tools. I have a frankenlift on order so this would be good for me too. I live in Peoria.
