Are you guys aware of the comment period for the travel mgmt plan for Lake Havasu's off road trails?

I am trying to organize some support from LOST JEEPS So-Cal. Have you guys done any letter writing? I know this is supposed to be a great wheeling area and one that I badly want to visit in the near future. I am Hoping that there will be trails left to visit.

I have written many letters over the years fighting for trails and offroad areas. I don't have a lot of time at the moment but I am going to look into writing a letter for this as well.

One thing I learned years ago is not to particapate in form letters. Those for the most part get tosed by the BLM, FS etc. It really is best to write one in your own words. So the best thing to do is research the issue at hand before writing. I hope to have time to do this in the next week or two. They have some good input on the Havasu 4 Wheelers site there as to what a letter should contain, instead of writing it for you. Good stuff.
