Saw the ol' silverdiesel driving down the I-10 by the 101. Tried to give you a wave but couldn't get your attention. Your rig is still looking pretty sharp there Roland. Can't miss that CRD; looking good. :JEEPIN:

Hey W-E-S-T S-I-D-E !!
I caught a glance at you as you were getting on the ramp to north bound 101 but you would have to see thru your B pillar to make eye contact.
I can tell its you by those over obvious LCAs drooping way down supporting your lift oh, and all those Jeep affiliation stickers on the rear window. Still like that Renegade hood/grill line you have that I don't.

We need to do a couple or 1/2 or 3/4 day runs as usually I have Thursdays off- mean bosses make me work on Saturdays.
Keep in touch E.H.T.

Hey Thursdays work for me. Love the weekday wheelin'.

I actually went scouting out a trail / road off the Agua Caliente Road last week. I have been talking to a guy from work that grew up in Gila Bend and from what I have heard there are a bunch of cool trails / washes / roads out that way as well as some cool mining town and WWII era military relics. He has also mentioned something about an area called "the little Grand Canyon". You ever wheel or explore out near Gila Bend Roland? I have been looking into the legality of whats out there, and it looks like a ton of legit wheelin' BLM land. I have shifted away from the crazy rock crawling stuff, and have more aligned myself into the exploratory, not breakin' shiate wheelin'. :jester:

I'm thinking about heading back out that way in a couple weeks. You interested?

Hey set something up for this thursday 11/10.....
I was out close to the Hassayampa/Gila confluence with a group of West Valley fire fighters a while back and understand it was all BLM, Federal and county access lands to the river beds that we trailed. This was south of Arlington and up on hilltops you can look north and see Palo Verde NPS.
Very scenic and mostly 2.5 ratings with options if you want to get gnarly.
So if you have any maps or directions we can figure something out.....

This Thursday is a no go. I will be working some OT. How about next Thursday?

Do you have any more info on where you went? That sounds interesting and pretty promising. I am still doing some searching and trying to nail down exactly where everything is. It is a pretty cool area out that way. Can't believe I haven't spent more time out there.

We'll going to be in Prescott this Thursday- wifey has business meeting and I am going to tag on but I plan to run over to Sedona area and do a trail or two ..... Schnebley Hill road is very scenic but I need to check it is open.... If anyone wants to coordinate a Sedona run for Thursday 11/17/11 simply chime up.

Roland

Hasaympa/Gila River confluence area is not forgotten but since this is new and unexplored several participants are needed to be safe so a near future plan can be drawn. Since Eyehatetofu and I usually have Thursdays off and both of us have expressed interest- this planned run will be done on a Thursday.... If anyone can offer up some interest on anything different, post it up and maybe we can get some definite plans on board.
