Just wanted to drop a note to let all the AZLOSTKJ folks know that I am moving back to Phoenix. Just can't seem to get anything meaningful going up here in Albuquerque, and when I was travelling with my mother to Vegas for the NASCAR race she mentioned that she would be willing to look at moving to AZ so I wouldn't have to drive so far to check up on her. So I called my old supervisor at my previous employer and I have a job waiting; in fact, I'm heading down Sunday so I can sign all the paperwork and give them a sample of my precious bodily fluids for testing, then I will be starting work on the 10th. So if anyone knows of any decent, inexpensive apartments in the Mesa/Tempe area, drop me a PM. Hope to see everyone for a run soon. C Ya!

(and just so you know, this is NOT an April Fools joke).

OK, finally got a chance to go online. I am now settling in to my new digs in NE Mesa (around Gilbert and University). Still have some stuff to bring down from ABQ but looking forward to getting out on the trail soon! If anyone wants to get a run together (those of you who aren't going to MOAB) let me know. I can still be reached by PM at my old e-mail address for the next month or so. Laterz.

Thanks Mike. I'm sure we'll get together on one of the runs. As far as moving goes, I am planning on going up in a couple of weeks (once I get my first paycheck) with a u-haul trailer and bringing some stuff down, the again a couple of weeks after that to finish it off. Shouldn't be anything I cant handle but if I get in over my head I'll give a shout out.

{stroking chin diabolically} Why yes, now that you mention it, I believe that was mentioned toward the top of the thread. I don't have a lift, but I do have boulder bars and a front skid, and I bet if I'm careful it wouldn't be a problem to get out there. The article I read on another website about the Coke Ovens run seemed to think that the step coming down toward Box Canyon was the hardest part of the trail, and I didn't have any problems with that one when I did the run back in September. Maybe in a couple of weeks we can do something. May see about starting a new thread for a run.
