Post subject:  Mod Party at Dan's House
hey Guys,

I was thinking working on my jeep this weekend.

This is what I am hoping to do and wanted to see if anyone wanted to stop by and help.

isntall a 1.25" body lift
Install a 2" Spring Spacer
Install Front and rear Diff Guards.

Any help would be apprecated and I will spring for beer and pizza.

I'm back and can help out. Not sure what day is going to be better for me, probably sunday. Since this is not alaska and there are no icebergs in your yard it would probably be better to start early. What time is reasonable?

I'd like to come down on sunday Dan but i need a ride. My poor jeep won't make it that far. I still have the discos for you too. I need to go over and get them from Jeff's shop but they are yours.

Trav, that sounds good. I have directions now to Dans place. Just as soon as he posts a start time we'll know when to meet; I figure it'll take about 1 1/2 hrs to get there from where you're at...

Dan are you planning to install the mml also? When the bl is installed you either have to install the mml or relocate the fan shroud.

I'm gonna be picking Travis up at tthe starmart at 7th ave. and Union Hills (the usual spot) so we could meet there or somewhere along the way. I'll keep an eye on the thread. 7th ave and Union Hills. I use to live down the street from there. 4th Drive and Union. Those 2 story condos on the North side, just West of Cave Creek Wash. When I left, they were building a fast food place on the corner. Meet Kenny Irwin at that Texaco Starmart, signing autographs when he drove the 28 car for Yates. Cool kid!! RIP I still believe that car was haunted.

Small world, man. I live right next to the wash. It looks so much different now. I have lived in this area of phx for almost 20 years now. Most of the desert is gone around here. it has really been built up. They closed the cavcreek dam area. That was the best mud hole i have ever seen. You should come out and visit. We will wheel. Thats if i ever get mine fixed. :roll:
