Is there a map that clearly shows Trail maps of oregon and washington available If so i was wondering if we could post some of those trails.
Im working on a GPS system That your able to print out a map on where your wanting to go and where you have been . Im not sure if all gps systems do that or not. We wont have the System up for months so im wondering what other systems out there have this capability. This GPS is suppose to be real time via satelite all updates are sent directly to the unit with out having to download them from a disc or internet. Pretty trick but my experience with GPS is very limited so this maybe something that already exsists. The one thing i dont see on the GPS that we have to look at doesnt have off road trails clearly marked wich raised my question are there maps that show the trails??

You can also try www.pnw4wda.org

It's for the states of OR, WA, and ID.

I really need to spend some more time over here and do some 4wheeling this summer.

Great link!!!

Today my girl friend and i went out to check out Tahuya State Forest and the trails out there. All i can say is bad stupid!!! The trails vary from mild to no f'ing way man!! Hill climbs, mud pits, moguls, sand, rocks just about anything and everything a 4x4 guy wants to see. The trails are maintained by a 4x4 club and they have trail ratings and guides to keep you heading forward.

In the mud pit we watched several jeeps and pickups with 35+ inch tires get stuck! It is a deep sucker. Two of the hill climbs we found where insane. One is a rock test with huge 8' boulders everywhere and one is a shear darn near vertical wall of just dirt with big ruts. I wanted to take a bunch of pictures but when i turned the digital camera on the battery light was the first thing to turn on. :(

We had a great time and short of almost pulling the sidestep/running boards off the libby we had no problems getting around and enjoying our selves. Next on to do list is get the stupid running boards off my jeep. Not sure who's bright idea they where but they need to be fired.
