Might be better sticking in the north cascades for a day trip.

Not sure where Steven's Pass is, I was referring to the trails around Mt. Baker. But it doesn't really matter.

My buddy told me that they closed all the ORV trails around Mnt. Baker after a couple of wheelers got hurt pretty bad out in the middle of nowhere. I am not sure where to look this kind of stuff up though.

I am in Blaine\Bellingham area. I would be up for a weekend run.

My wife is working this weekend so I was thinking about heading up and hitting some of the FS roads around Mt Baker with the kids, maybe pups too. Scenic exploration trip, get out relax, see the sights kinda trip. If and when we go (sat/sun) depends on the boys and there chores.

Gah! My inlaws are in town this weekend and next weekend is ski-to-sea. That would be sweet if we could get together and pull some of the BC guys down. My biggest fear is my own lack of experience and going out alone. Those have kept me on the pavement more than I would like. Sounds like you have some experience though...

Been wheeling for about 17 years off and on XJ, YJ, TJ, KJ, ever since the CJ in high school. Just new to the area. Usually your fine going out alone if you stick to the "maintained" FS roads.

Hello out there! I just bought a 2008 KK--replaced my aged XJ--and am looking for other KJ/KK folks to wheel with. I live in Federal Way and like wheeling in the Cascades, the Olympic Peninsula, even the dunes down at Sandlake (my favorite place). Shoot me an e-mail if you are interested in riding together.

I think I'm going to try and head out Saturday into someplace in the Cascades. Anyone free?

Did you go out last weekend? Where did you end up? Snap any pics?

Time warp ahead a couple months and ....

We need to figure out a spring run in Feb or March and get everyone together. I am in Tacoma Washington and am willing to drive to Canada or Oregon to meet up if the weekend is free.

Absolutely.
Big problem is there aren't many KJ wheelers up here... of course look around this section and you could see that...
