Well 2 days with the kids and the dogs in the back country on the south side of Mt Baker, and I'm back home... What a load of poop, out of the 40 4x4/non-maintained roads that I had picked out on my map to explore if I had time... NOT ONE WAS OPEN! Everyone blocked or "road closed"! ARGH! Ended up making camp in the Mt Baker Rec area last night, explored a bit this AM, basically saw a bunch of gravel roads an accord could have conquered, and burnt some fuel.

That sucks man. Were you around highway 20 somewhere? I have been looking into camping around baker lake sometime. |
